Expansion:
The program works!
Since inception, 84% of our students have graduated and been accepted at
college. Those who chose not to go to college went on to serve in the
military. In last year's senior class, 100% of our graduates are now
attending college. Testimony to the success of Delaware Futures is that we
have more students looking to join the Delaware Futures family than we can
accomodate. To meet this need, we have embarked on a campaign to raise
$1.4 Million to acquire additional program space and equipment, and to
pre-fund the annual cost of increasing the maximum number of students in
the program from sixty-four to one hundred.
Generous initial support has been received from several local foundations,
community leaders and members of the Delaware Futures board. We are now
inviting you to join in supporting this great program and making it
available to more at-risk students.
